How and When to Donate to The HOWS Project

The HOWS Project as it exists today is a community service project -- a labor of love, if you will. It is our goal to soon become a non-profit organization, but, as we are currently not, it is important to understand that donations are not tax deductible. Rest-assured, 100% of all money collected for the HOWS Project is applied directly towards the items on our wish list.

Donations are much appreciated at any time of the year, but we ask for your donations especially as the summer approaches and in to the fall months. The bulk of the construction materials is collected at the end of summer and distributed in the month of September, and bales of straw, “important extras”, and transportation are most needed for the months of October, November, and December.

For monetary donations to the HOWS Project, you may send a check, payable to The HOWS Project, to our PO Box address, or make your donation through Paypal using the link below.
You may also remotely purchase materials for the HOWS Project at a discount from participating businesses. Simply contact the business, notify them that you are making a purchase for the HOWS Project, and make your purchase with your credit card over the phone. Please make sure to notify the HOWS Project of this transaction! Feel free to contact Stacey for participating businesses and updates to this list. This information, as it becomes available, will also be posted on our Facebook page.
If you have materials that you would like to donate to the HOWS Project, please contact Stacey and she can arrange for them to be picked up.
If you would like to donate your time or services to the HOWS Project, please contact Stacey to discuss the current needs of the project.
If you would like to report a possible dog in need, please contact Stacey; all reports are investigated and your personal information is kept confidential.
