How and When to Donate to The HOWS Project |
|
|
|
The HOWS Project as it exists today is a community service
project -- a labor of love, if you will. It is our goal to
eventually become a non-profit organization, but, at this
point we are not. In the interest of full disclosure, it is
important to understand that – because we do not hold
non-profit status, 1) monetary donations must be assigned to
Stacey Norris, the project coordinator, as opposed to the
HOWS Project; and 2) donations are not tax deductible.
Rest-assured, 100% of all money collected for the HOWS
Project is applied directly towards the items on our
wish
list.
Donations are much appreciated at any time of the year,
but we ask for your donations especially as the summer
approaches and in to the fall months. The bulk of the
construction materials is collected at the end of summer and
distributed in the month of September, and bales of straw,
“important extras”, and transportation are most needed for
the months of October, November, and December. |

the HOWS Project of this transaction! Feel free to contact
