How and When to Donate to The HOWS Project

The HOWS Project is now a project of Voices for Animals, a 501c3 tax deductible charity (Tax ID # 54-1418303). And 100% of all money collected for the HOWS Project are used to directly impact the animals in need in our area.

Donations are much appreciated at any time of the year. The bulk of the construction materials is collected at the end of summer and distributed in the month of September, and bales of straw, “important extras”, and transportation are most needed for the months of October through April.

If you are a state employee, or know someone who is, please help spread the word that the HOWS Project (through Voices for Animals) is participating in the Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign (CVC), a statewide employee-giving program that facilitates donations to more than 1,300 charities. Our CVC code is #03585.

For monetary donations to the HOWS Project, you may send a check, payable to The HOWS Project, to our PO Box address, or make your donation through Paypal using the link below.
